Hurricane Helene

During Hurricane Helene, we at Parker Fire District stepped up to serve our community in a time of great need. Over eight intense days, our team responded to 502 calls for service, putting in countless hours to ensure the safety and well-being of those we’re here to protect. One of our biggest challenges was clearing 282 fallen trees to make sure emergency vehicles could access critical areas—a task we tackled head-on to keep our community connected. With 254 homes damaged and a wide range of emergencies, from rescues to severe weather incidents, we stayed focused on what matters most: showing up when it counts. We’re proud of the role we played in helping our neighbors recover, and we remain committed to being there whenever we’re needed.
