Chief of Training

The Chief of Training oversees and manages the comprehensive training programs for Parker Fire Department. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring all personnel are trained to the highest standards, coordinating with local and national organizations to provide ongoing development opportunities. The Chief of Training will also serve as a leader in emergency situations and work closely with the department’s leadership to uphold safety and training excellence.

Expectations:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs for all personnel.

  • Ensure training complies with national, state, and local standards.

  • Coordinate with external organizations for joint training efforts.

  • Oversee and maintain training records, schedules, and certifications.

  • Provide leadership during training activities and emergency incidents.

Captain of Administration

The Captain of Administration provides essential support to the operational and administrative functions of Parker Fire Department. This role involves managing IT systems, overseeing department communications, assisting with recruitment and retention, and working on grant opportunities. The Captain of Administration will also be involved in community outreach, emergency incident response, and ensuring smooth department operations.
